IXEL Mesh puts your Mac, PC, servers and cloud machines on one private network. Each device gets a name and a private address, and reaches your other devices as if they shared a local network, whether they’re at home, in the office, in a data centre or on a phone’s connection.
IXEL only makes the introductions. It checks who you are, tells your devices about each other and helps them find a path. The connections themselves go straight from device to device, encrypted with WireGuard keys that never leave your devices.
Get started in a minute
- Download the app for your computer from the downloads page, and open it.
- Sign in. IXEL Mesh shows a short code and opens your browser. Sign in to your IXEL account (or create one) and approve the code.
- Do the same on another device. Your devices appear in each other’s list within a second and connect directly.
That’s it. Your devices can now reach each other by name. See Use IXEL Mesh for how.
What you can do with it
- Reach your own machines from anywhere: your home server from a café, your GPU box from your laptop, a cloud VM with no public address.
- Connect through any network: home routers, mobile data and most firewalls, with nothing to open or configure.
- Keep your traffic yours: connections are device to device and never pass through IXEL.
