Privacy notice

The short version

If you sign up for launch updates, we keep your email address so we can tell you about IXEL. That's all we collect, we don't sell it, and you can have it removed whenever you like.

What we collect

Mailing list

When you sign up, we store your email address, the date and time you signed up, and that you signed up on ixel.si. We do not store your IP address with your sign-up.

To stop automated abuse of the sign-up form, we briefly keep a one-way, salted fingerprint of the address your request came from. It can't be turned back into your IP address, isn't linked to your email, and is deleted after one hour.

Browsing the site

The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. Like any web server, our hosting provider records standard access logs (such as IP address, page requested and browser type) for security and operations, and keeps them for a limited time.

Why we use it

We use your email address only to send you news about IXEL launches and products, because you asked us to. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Where it's kept

Sign-ups are stored on our web hosting, provided by Spaceship, on servers in the United States, in a file that isn't reachable from the web. When we start sending email, we may use an email delivery service to do so; it will only process your address to deliver our emails.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, or until we stop sending launch updates.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Every email we send will include a link to unsubscribe. You can also contact us at privacy@ixel.si and we'll act on your request. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
